Hello and welcome. It is my pleasure to introduce Kora to you. People frequently ask why the name Kora? The name is inspired by an ancient Greek term that Plato [Khora] invented, which means a clearing in the universe, opening a place for a new creation to exist’. It is rooted in the foundations of authenticity and creativity. I hope I get the chance to meet you and share my passion for dreaming and creativity with you. My approach to design focuses on delivering the best results to meet my client’s goals with flying colors. I use the power of innovation combined with tried-and-true techniques to achieve excellence.
A bit of background about myself: I am a licensed architect in the state of Nevada and am in the process of expanding licensure to other states. I have been a Las Vegas resident for over 20 years and take pride in this unique city. I have worked very hard over the past 15 years since starting on the journey to open Kora. Starting with attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture. Working for previous architecture and interior design firms, such as Gensler, Tandem, and JMA, for the past 13 years, I’ve grown a career with diverse experience in hospitality, workplace, retail, and high-end residential design. I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to build a portfolio of successful projects and become an expert in hotel, casino, resort, and spa design. I’ve completed projects in numerous resorts worldwide, working with clients such as MGM Resorts International, Venetian Sands, Harrah’s and SLS, to name a few.
Most importantly, I take pride in working closely with my clients to achieve their dreams. I listen attentively and apply my expertise to reach their goals. With integrity and dedication, I meticulously pay attention to the details and search for opportunities to strive for excellence.
